Another accident in Kambelovac: Motorcyclist collides with pedestrian shortly after Sućurac incident

Police in Split responded to a report of a serious traffic accident in Kaštel Suurac on the D8 road at 5:48 p.m. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene where a car and a motorcyclist had collided. The impact of the crash caused the car to flip onto its roof and catch fire. Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the fire, but tragically, two people lost their lives in the accident. As a result of the investigation, traffic on the D8 road heading towards Split was completely closed for several hours and redirected to Franje Tuđmana Street.

According to reports from the Dalmatian portal, just an hour later in Tuđmanova street in Kaštel Kambelovac, a motorcyclist collided with a pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital in Split, but the severity of her injuries is not yet known.
